Diocesan Choir

The Diocesan Choir sings for major celebrations of the Episcopal Diocese of New York held at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine: ordinations, confirmations, baptisms, and more! Rehearsals are typically held the morning before a liturgy (usually a 9 am rehearsal for a 10:30 am service) so participation in the Diocesan Choir is flexible. Some singers join for specific celebrations honoring members of their own worshipping community, while others join regularly for each event to become part of the larger spiritual community of the Diocese.
