Their arrival marks a profound deepening of the Cathedral’s intellectual and moral life. Dr. Douglas, a pioneer of Womanist theology, challenges us to expand our moral imagination and see the world through the eyes of the marginalized. Dr. Dorrien, the preeminent historian of the Social Gospel, reminds us that social salvation is structural, not just personal.
