Kent Tritle conducts the Oratorio Society of New York chorus and soloists in Sergei Rachmaninoff’s a cappella Vespers (mvts. 1-6), and Maurice Duruflé’s Requiem. Tenor John Riesen and contralto Kirsten Sollek are the featured soloists in the Rachmaninoff Vespers. Ms. Sollek and baritone David Pike are joined by Arthur Fiacco, Jr. (cello) and David Briggs (organ) in this intimate performance of Duruflé’s Requiem. This concert is supported, in part, by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council.
