Peace Post

On View Spring – Fall 2026
Opening May 14, 2026, 6:30pm
Peace Post is a collection of 198 portraits of peace, environmental, and human right advocates, one for each country in the world. It is a tribute to individuals who have dedicated their lives to standing up to injustice. Each portrait in the collection is inspired by the advocate’s story and the artistic heritage of their country.
Embracing a broader definition of peace, the exhibit highlights advocates across several different categories including nonviolence, disarmament, human rights, women’s rights, children’s rights, LGBTQIA+ rights, political activism, civil rights, and environmental rights. World-renowned changemakers like Malala Yousafzai, Martin Luther King, Jr., and Pope Francis are featured, as well as lesser-known activists to help make their voices more visible and accessible. These portraits also span a variety of mediums such as painting, drawing, sculpture, collage, printmaking, and more.
The project was created by Selman, a Brooklyn-based design studio and showcases the work of over 100 artists from around the world. For more information visit the Peace Post website.
