Open to All

We are humbled to be entrusted with the reverent task of performing funeral rites for your loved one. Your grief is shared by the Cathedral community. Please know that as we preparefor the service and join in the liturgy, we hold you and your loved one in our prayers.

The Cathedral provides funerals, memorials and committal services (with or without Eucharist). Committal services are specific to individuals with a dedicated niche in the columbarium. However, a funeral or memorial service can be held without a committal.

The Book of Common Prayer (BCP) provides the basic worship format for all services at the Cathedral. You will find that it is a wonderful “library” of suggested readings, prayers, and blessings that span beautiful traditions across the generations and have been used by the Anglican and Episcopal Church for hundreds of years. Any modifications to the readings or the format must be discussed with your priest.

There are several options for where you can have your ceremony, when having a funeral at the Cathedral.
