Each Sunday service at the Cathedral has its own feel, and one may fit your needs or temperament more than another. In all, we experience the mystery of God, hear and wrestle with God’s word, share Christ’s presence in the Sacrament, and leave strengthened to live and serve in the world.
Below is a brief description of each Sunday service. Please also consult the Calendar for more specific information about the music, preachers, or readings for particular Sundays.

Schedule of Services
A quiet spoken service, using the Book of Common Prayer, with scripture readings, prayers, and a short homily, as well as the Sacrament of Holy Eucharist.
The Sacrament of Holy Eucharist, celebrated with a sermon and hymns, using both traditional and contemporary language from a variety of Episcopal sources.
The Cathedral and its Congregation strive to make this a welcoming place for children, youth, and their families. We are committed to ensuring that all of our children and youth have incredible, challenging, and safe experiences with our Sunday programming.
Little Pilgrims, for children ages 3 - 7, meets in the Cathedral’s Earth Bay. The Next Step, for children ages 8 - 12, meets in the Cathedral’s Anglican Bay.
Our largest service, warm and elegantly formal. The repertoire of our professional Cathedral Choir, volunteer Chorale and Cathedral Choristers derives mostly from the classical tradition--mass settings and anthems as well as great hymns and spirituals. Communion is received in the round, after a sermon from the Cathedral Dean or Chapter members.
On the second Sunday of each month, the Cathedral will provide an interpreted service for people who use ASL/English interpreters. The Cathedral also provides interpreters for selected other major feasts and services. For updated or further information please contact:
