Founded in 1908, The Cathedral Gardens Conservancy designs, maintains, and supports all of the gardens on the Close. Many of the members of this all-volunteer group have served for decades, planning and implementing this urban oasis. Conservancy members may be found around the Close at all seasons, planting bulbs in the fall, annuals in the spring, and caring for the flowers and shrubbery all year. The Conservancy also involves children from The Cathedral School in their gardening, promoting environmental knowledge and stewardship.
