Prayer Requests and Healing Ministries

Healing Ministries
Healing Eucharist on Wednesdays at 12:15
On Wednesdays at 12:15, the daily Eucharist includes a time of prayer for healing, the laying on of hands, and Unction (anointing with oil) by a priest.

Healing Prayer during the 11 AM Sunday Eucharist
During the time of Communion, trained lay people are available to pray with you in St. James Chapel.

Recovery Eucharist
On the fourth Saturday of every month, the 12:15 Eucharist will intentionally welcome those afflicted or affected by addiction. The texts and homily of the liturgy as well as other resources that will be available, serve to especially welcome to this service all who are in search of healing and recovery.

Prayer Requests

The Pastoral Care office provides and collects prayer cards in the Cathedral’s Narthex. Your prayers will be included in the daily Eucharistic (Communion) services. If you wish to have a further conversation, you may include your contact information. The Episcopal Congregation of this Cathedral, Saint Saviour, also maintains an anonymous Prayer Tree. If you wish to have a wide network of people praying for you well beyond these walls, contact prayertree@saintsaviour.org.

Pastoral Psychotherapy
If you wish to see a professional psychotherapist to help you build your spiritual energy, please contact The Rev. Dr. John Baumann at (212) 932-7346.

Confession
Confession is available by appointment. To schedule, please contact pastor@stjohndivine.org or the Cathedral’s Pastor at (212) 316-7456.
