School & Youth Programs Call the Public Education & Visitor Services Department at 212 932-7347 for more information or to make reservations for your class.   The Public Education Department is a secular department of the Cathedral and its programs are designed and led by experienced educators.  The programs enhance and supplement classroom curricula through inquiry, observation, object-based learning, and hands-on activities.  Students of all ages enjoy the educational experiences that are adapted to the needs and interests of their group. Tours are one hour in length, and can be enhanced by an accompanying one-hour workshop.  Please note that a workshop must accompany a guided tour and cannot be scheduled independently.
