Medieval Birthday Parties

Give your child a truly memorable birthday party in the Medieval Arts Workshop, a creative studio space in The Cathedral of St. John the Divine.  The fun begins with a brief walk around the Cathedral to see tapestries, stained-glass windows, and stonework.  Then it's off to the Workshop, where children experience the arts and crafts of the Middle Ages by carving on a block of limestone, sculpting clay gargoyles, designing stained glass windows, creating illuminated letters, making brass rubbings, and weaving on a loom.  This truly unique experience concludes with a set-up for your medieval-style banquet.

Medieval Birthday Parties Available Saturdays and Sundays 1-3 PM, by availability. Celebrate your child's birthday in the Medieval Arts Workshop where children create their own party favors of gargoyles, stained glass collages, brass rubbings, and illuminated letters. Ages 5 - 11.
