Geometry
Look at the Cathedral and discover a series of geometric shapes and mathematical principles within its design, including the traditional cross-shaped floor plan, Romanesque and Gothic arches, and patterns in stone and glass. Examine the importance of mathematical relationships that create stability and beauty throughout the Cathedral. Optional Hands-on Activity: Build a model of a section of the Cathedral.
