firsthand the role of flying buttresses, and explore the connection between the Cathedral's function and appearance. Optional Hands-on Activity: Build a model of a section of the Cathedral.

Architecture Workshop
Experience the architectural process by discussing and observing the Cathedral structure using the three architectural principles: stability, function, and beauty. With the Cathedral as inspiration, use found and recycled materials to design and build a model of an original cathedral.
