Workshops The Public Education and Visitor Services Department offers the following programs for families. For more information and reservations please call (212) 932-7347. All Public Education Family programs meet for registration at the Visitor Center inside the Cathedral entrance, at 112 Street & Amsterdam Avenue.   Medieval Arts Children's Workshop Saturday, June 6 10 am - 12 noon In this signature workshop, children carve a block of limestone; create medieval illuminated letters; design gargoyles; weave; and more! Recommended for ages 4 and up. $6 per child with accompanying adult. Wonders of the Sun: Celebrating the Solstice Saturday, June 13, 10 am - 12noon Welcome summer by celebrating the wonders of the sun! Join us for an outdoor tour of the Cathedral and its gardens. In the workshop, families learn about Midsummer's eve traditions, then create sundials, sun prints and more.
