The Cathedral has begun the process of cleaning and restoration after the 2001 fire. The Cathedral will remain open, but public access will be limited in some areas. We appreciate the cooperation and support of those worshipping and visiting the Cathedral at this exciting time of renewal.

New Year's Eve Concert For Peace
Sunday, December 31 at 7 pm
Ring in the New Year at the world's largest Cathedral with critically acclaimed opera star Lauren Flanigan; conductor Glen Barton Cortese, and host Harry Smith, as well as other special guests for this annual New Year's celebration. Originally conceived by Leonard Bernstein, this New York tradition has united over two thousand people in the common cause for world peace.
A note for ticket buyers: As the New Year's Eve Concert for Peace is meant to be free to the public, only a limited number of reserved seats are sold for this event. All other seating will be handled on a first come, first serve basis at the Cathedral the night of the performance. Due to the cleaning and restoration of the Cathedral, seating capacity is reduced by half, so please get on line early to gain admission.
