Corporations, civic groups, and associations of professionals are encouraged to hold special events at The Cathedral of St. John the Divine. The world's largest cathedral provides a magnificent setting for fundraising events, benefit banquets, receptions, and dinners.
Size: The Nave measures 179 feet in length and 42 feet in width, with the adjoining Crossing at 109 feet by 91 feet, and a spacious entrance area.
Event Capacity: Up to 700 for sit-down dinners with cocktail reception area, dancing or entertainment.
Fee: Organizations using the Cathedral for special events are required to pay a fee to support the work of the Cathedral. Catering is chosen from a list of approved caterers.
Special Feature: Guided tours of the art and architecture of the Cathedral may be arranged in conjunction with special events.
