Cathedral
Community Cares provides an array of support services to those
in need. These include a Crisis Center, emergency food and a
soup kitchen, a shelter for men, professional and emergency
clothing, emergency pantry, advocacy, training and intervention.
Donations of clothes, equipment, and household goods, as well
as volunteering
are all welcome.

Program is just for you!
Those interested MUST be on
Public Assistance or have a Combined Gross Income equal to or less
than the Federal Poverty Level.
We offer a small intensive
program that will assist you in: Basic Computer Skills, Resume Writing
(Format and Content), and Job Searching Techniques
Classes are on Mondays, Wednesdays,
and Fridays from 1pm-4pm or 5pm-8pm.

The Crisis & Intervention
Center offers referrals for food, medical attention, advocacy, professional
and emergency clothing, emergency pantry.
The Clothes Closet
Hours of Operation
for clothing distribution:
Tuesdays and Thursdays 9 - 12 PM
The Clothes Closet distributes professional and emergency clothing
through the Crisis Center. The clothing closet is in need of professional
clothing for men and women in tall and large sizes.

The Soup Kitchen
The Soup Kitchen provides
three meals every Sunday. There are no tickets and no lines.
Sundays
Breakfast is served at 10 AM, guests are welcomed into the dining
area at 9:00 AM where social workers offer advocacy and counseling.
Lunch is served at 12:30 PM, and as clients leave a take home dinner
bag is offered.
Between Breakfast and Lunch,
emergency clothing and pantry is sometimes distributed, support groups
and individual counseling is available. Sometimes health and movie
videos are shown.
Food donations and
baked goods are especially welcome for all holidays especially Easter,
Thanksgiving and Christmas.
The New Hope Men's Shelter
The New Hope Men's Shelter
is open all year and houses up to eight homeless men in a self-supervised,
transitional program. Men stay from up to six months with goals of
employment, education, reunification with family, community service,
and permanent housing. Shelter residents join in a rigorous goal-oriented
approach to problem-solving, designed to assist them in regaining
the financial and emotional equilibrium needed to maintain a satisfying
job, as well as a stable home and social life.
