The Society of Regents
The Society of Regents of the Cathedral Church of Saint
John the Divine is an association of men and women who
provide annual leadership gifts in support of the Cathedral
and its programs. Regents are our special partners,
sustaining the Cathedral as a source of comfort, strength,
celebration and worship. The Society of Regents welcomes
friends of the Cathedral of all faiths.
Members of the Society donate $1,000 or more annually
for the preservation and maintenance of the Cathedral’s
magnificent architecture and beautiful gardens, for the
support of educational programs for children and adults,
and for the advancement of the Cathedral’s mission
of outreach and service to New York City and the nation. By
their continuing support, Regents enable the Cathedral
to fulfill its ambitious mission – to serve as a “house
of prayer for all people” and a “center for
intellectual light and learning.”
The Young Regents Program
Established in 2005. Young Regents members are culturally engaged, active young professionals who support the Cathedral by attending events, volunteering their time and networking with other like-minded people throughout the year. By contributing $250 per year or more annually, our Young Regents play an important role in shaping the Cathedral’s future.
Members of the Society of Regents are invited to participate in a variety of special Cathedral events and meetings, throughout the year. Join today with an online contribution or call the Development Office for more information at (212) 316-7488.
