Walk-In Crisis Center

The myriad of services that address poverty on a community level involve a lot of referral services and direct on-site counseling. These programs are staffed by the Case Manager, Intake Coordinator, and MSW interns.

Open five mornings every week, the Crisis Intervention and Counseling Center provides all clients with a single place to receive both emergency and beyond emergency assistance. The intake coordinator along with the case manager and on-site MSW provide clients with individualized referral information and follow-up as necessary for access to shelter, food, clothing, drug and alcohol treatment programs, HIV/AIDS prevention and/or immigration status related problems.
