A Recital With Kent Tritle
The Cathedral is delighted to present an evening with Kent Tritle, Director of Cathedral Music. Mr. Tritle will perform a program ranging from the works of J.S. Bach to the brilliant American composer George Crumb, and conclude with a Romantic tour-de-force, Julius Reubke's Sonata on Psalm 94. Reubke was a student of Franz Liszt, and his Sonata is renowned among organ music lovers for it extraordinary lyricism and its virtuosic demands.
