Back by popular demand, the all-instrumental offering from hauntingly provocative to viscerally energetic dances of the 13th through early 15th centuries: Italian istanpittas, saltarelli, and trottos, French estampies, English rottas and ductias performed by EM/NY’s superb specialist instrumental ensemble playing bagpipes, shawms, flutes, harp, rebec, vielle, and an array of frame drums!
